Why do I need to verify my mobile number before applying?
A verified mobile number is the primary account check for job applications. It helps recruiters identify genuine applicants. Email is optional and can be added later from Profile.
I signed in with Google or Apple. Why can’t I apply yet?
Google or Apple may verify your email, but JobJeeni still requires mobile verification before an application is submitted. Open Profile → Verify mobile number, enter the OTP, then apply again.
I’m not receiving the mobile OTP. What should I check?
Confirm the country code and mobile number, check network/SMS availability, wait briefly before resending, and make sure SMS messages are not blocked. Never share an OTP with another person.
Can a recruitment agency or consultancy use Gmail or Outlook?
Yes. Choose Agency / Consultancy in the recruiter profile and verify the normal email address you use for recruiting. A corporate-domain email is not required for agencies or consultancies.
When is a corporate email required?
A corporate-domain email is required only when the recruiter profile is set to Direct Employer. This separates direct-company verification from agency/consultancy verification.
What does the verified hiring-profile badge mean?
It means the relevant recruiter contact completed JobJeeni’s verification step. It does not guarantee a job, employer, interview or transaction, so users should still evaluate opportunities carefully.
Why are Call or WhatsApp options missing on a job?
The recruiter controls which contact methods are public. Applying inside JobJeeni remains available when the job is open, while direct phone, WhatsApp or email buttons may be hidden.
How do I update my location, role or skills?
Open Profile and edit your details. Keeping location, primary role and skills current improves matching and nearby-job results.
What information should I never send in chat or feed posts?
Never share passwords, OTPs, banking credentials or payment-card details. Be cautious with requests for money or sensitive documents, and report suspicious jobs or messages.
